Before your vinyl floor can be installed, we will need to remove your old flooring and make sure your subfloor is prepared. Contact us for a Free Estimate and more information on this process. When your subfloor is ready to go, your luxury vinyl floor will be installed. Vinyl can be installed with one of three different techniques: full spread, perimeter-adhered, or floating installation. With full spread installation, our installers apply adhesive to the entire substrate. For perimeter-adhered installation, the adhesive is only applied to seams and perimeters of the vinyl flooring. A floating vinyl installation requires no adhesive and your vinyl floor will not be glued down to the substrate.
During and after installation
One of the most effective selling points around vinyl flooring is the quick installation! Of course, the type of vinyl you have selected for your residential or multifamily project will determine who long the installation will take. Be sure to keep pets and children away from the area for their safety and once the job is complete, make sure your room has good ventilation. You can help ensure good airflow by opening up windows, turning on fans, and taking other steps to air the room out for about 48 to 72 hours.
